Kevin Moore is a seasoned educator and respected instructional leader with decades of experience in teaching and professional development. While he has held a variety of roles in education, none has been more meaningful to him than that of classroom teacher. Kevin has taught mathematics to elementary and middle school students in a wide range of educational settings, always focusing his work on meaningful, learner-centered experiences.

In recent years, Kevin has served as a math teacher at Long-View School in Austin, TX, a micro-school he co-founded. There, he blended innovation with impressive pedagogical craft.

His passion extends beyond the classroom to supporting fellow educators. And for over a decade, Kevin has designed and facilitated professional learning experiences for teachers and leaders in schools and districts across the country.

Kevin’s workshops draw from a distinctive learning framework that emphasizes collaboratively generating mathematics by grappling with rich mathematical tasks. His work helps teachers deepen their own conceptual understanding of mathematics while empowering them to cultivate authentic math learning in their classrooms.
